The prevailing South Westerlies fan the spray from giant Atlantic breakers crashing on the rocky Alentejo shore over the sandy terrain. The cooling ambience thus produced in the sun-soaked vineyards now alive with the first leaves of Frupor's new venture into wine production will enable the production of wines with characteristics quite different from those of the warmer Alentejo interior.
With the vines being grown to the most demanding quality standards and wines produced under established industry specialists' strict and watchful control, Frupor's wines are indeed set to excite. The sublime climate and terrain of the coastal Alentejo provide the ideal conditions for our team to bring a new fruity red beauty or a crisp white sparkle to your glasses.
Always looking towards the future, Frupor plans to create its own winery, which will be the first winery in the region. It is an ongoing project, which is being studied and developed in a meticulous way and elaborated in such a way, that it will certainly become an unquestionable added value and a source of pride for all of Frupor. It will be called Adega da Costa Atlântica and will be located next to the vineyards that will “feed” it.
